I walk into the gallery. Three large canvases, each appr. 130 x 170 cm, are placed against the wall (front facing the wall),  The paintings are covered with plastic to protect them. Attached to the works is a piece of paper with the written text: “Don’t touch it! I will come and fix it as soon as possible’.
I measure exactly where to hang the paintings, drill holes for each of them, put screws into the holes and carefully hang the paintings against the wall. I clean the floor in front of the works.

Then I take the paintings off  in reversed order, place them against the wall. I remove the screws, fill the holes with plaster, paint the stains white again, clean the floor, reattach the piece of paper, take away my equipment and leave the gallery.

The performance is repeated ten times at unannounced moments during the exhibition.

The work was executed once before at Let’s Get Physical, Kapitaal, Utrecht (NL), in 2013.
